A WeChat Official Account article starts with a useful question, then moves through research, drafting, revision, formatting, and a final review. Different stages call for different Skills.

The 13 Skills below are published on SkillHey and organized by task. They come from different projects; two dbskill entries serve different purposes, one for organizing content and one for WeChat formatting. The descriptions follow their published instructions, not a comparative test.

Skills at a glance

Find a topic: Start with the reader's questions

  • Last30Days gathers recent discussions from sources including Reddit, X, YouTube, Hacker News, and GitHub. Source access depends on available tools and configuration.

  • Content Strategy helps plan content pillars and themes around audience needs, useful for building an ongoing publication.

  • dbs-content-system organizes existing drafts, cases, and ideas into a reusable topic map. Use it to find unfinished ideas in your own archive.

An AI tools publication might use Last30Days to find recurring questions, Content Strategy to assess their fit with its audience, and dbs-content-system to revisit its own tutorials and examples. Treat discussion as a lead: check features, prices, and figures against primary sources.

Research: Keep the sources connected

  • Agent Reach connects an agent to web search, link reading, social content, and video transcripts. Available sources depend on setup and access.

  • ModSearch Web Research provides configurable web and X search and page reading for a focused research workflow.

  • Life Decision Guide consults the Chinese guide How to Live Better for practical life decisions, reporting costs, benefits, evidence levels, and references.

For a lifestyle article on household emergency preparation, ask Life Decision Guide to identify relevant entries, their sources, applicable conditions, and questions the book does not cover. Its value-for-money rankings reflect the book author's judgment. Check original research or policy for dates, applicability, and limitations before citing it.

Whatever tool you use, retain source links, publication dates, and quotation locations. Separate verified facts from an author's judgment and from individual user experiences.

Write: Choose a workflow for your material

  • Khazix Long Form Writing organizes long-form WeChat articles using its published writing method. Give it a topic, sources, and your own argument.

  • Waza Write supports drafting and editing Chinese or English prose, including clearer openings and explanations.

Supply the intended reader, the question the article should answer, your main point, source notes, and quotations to preserve. For interviews, listen again to important passages to check speaker identity, context, and qualifications.

A useful editing brief is: “For a first-time reader, shorten the opening and explain the unfamiliar terms in section two. Preserve the numbers, quotations, and claims; do not invent examples.”

Cover: Give the article a visual introduction

Punk Cover uses a shared style library to turn an article or topic into a cover prompt and, when an image-generation tool is available, an image. Supply the article, cover headline, platform and preferred visual style, then check the generated text and dimensions. Unsupported ratios are mapped to the closest available ratio.

Keep the repository's shared styles directory when installing. Personal non-commercial use is free; business, client, marketing and other commercial use require prior written authorization and a license fee.

Format: Prepare the article for the WeChat editor

dbs-wechat-html converts Markdown into HTML intended for copying into the WeChat Official Account editor, with fifteen built-in styles. Use it once the text is ready for layout.

Open the generated HTML in a browser, copy it into the editor, and inspect the phone preview. Check headings, paragraphs, quotations, and code blocks, and handle images according to the actual output and editor requirements. The Skill formats the article; it does not publish it automatically.

Before publishing: Review the draft

Yuwen Publishing Precheck reviews Chinese social-media drafts, subtitles, and cover text for publication risks and suggests changes intended to preserve meaning. Provide the headline and article, and ask for exact passages, reasons, and suggested edits.

Its findings inform editorial decisions; they do not guarantee a platform's review outcome. The author should also verify facts, quotations, links, and changes to meaning, then inspect the article in the WeChat editor.

This selection does not include an automatic publishing Skill: we have not confirmed a suitable WeChat publishing option already listed on SkillHey. Article image Skills will be covered separately.
