A little privacy notice.
Updated September 30, 2026. This notice describes the current SkillHey application.
What stays in your browser
Your login cookie keeps you signed in. Your collection is stored in your account, and the language is determined by the URL.
What the server stores
When you submit a skill, the server stores its title, description, category, author name, workflow, optional source URL, and contact email. Approved skill content and your author name become public. Your contact email remains private. Waitlist sign-ups store your email and selected plan.
Usage and request limits
The server counts successful ZIP downloads per skill. To limit abuse, it temporarily stores hashed request identifiers for up to one hour. With a trusted proxy configured, the identifier uses the client IP; otherwise it uses a shared local bucket. No advertising trackers are included.
Google sign-in
Signing in with Google stores your Google account identifier, name and email on our server. An essential HttpOnly cookie keeps you signed in. Server sessions have no fixed expiry; the browser cookie is renewed when you visit. Signing out revokes the session. Clearing site data requires signing in again.
Your Google profile picture URL and saved skill IDs are stored with your account. You can change your username in Settings.
Website analytics
Production pages use Google Analytics to measure visits and page views. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes device and usage information. Your account name, email and Google sign-in credentials are not sent to Analytics by this application.
Control over your data
Manage saved skills in your collection and your username in Settings. Clearing browser data signs you out but does not delete your account or saved skills. Contact the operator privately to request account deletion.
Payments are processed by Creem. We store customer and subscription identifiers, plan, status and billing dates. We do not store card details.
External tools and links
Opening an external documentation or source link takes you to that provider. Running a skill uses your chosen agent and tools under their own terms. SkillHey does not receive your prompts or your generated project files.
