About this Skill

Turn your experience and a target job description into a one-page resume. Keep a complete YAML inventory, copy relevant facts into a role-specific file, and apply one of 12 bundled A4 HTML templates. The workflow includes PDF export and layout checks; it asks users to confirm selected facts and avoids invented achievements.

Why we picked it

An external listing of KevinYoung-Kw’s original Skill. Its reviewed frontmatter needs a YAML correction for parsers that enforce YAML. CC BY-NC 4.0 requires attribution and restricts commercial use.

What it helps with

  • Build a resume from scattered education, work and project materials.
  • Tailor separate versions to different job descriptions while retaining a full inventory.
  • Update an existing resume or polish its wording before applying a template.

From facts to a finished resume

Collect facts in raw.data.yaml, select and polish a copy for the target role, then confirm the selection before applying it to an official template. The default is basic-a4; the output is editable HTML and a PDF checked for one A4 page.

Before you use it

  • The reviewed upstream SKILL.md has invalid YAML frontmatter: the unquoted description contains a colon followed by a space. If your Agent cannot discover the Skill, quote the description or use a YAML block scalar in your installed copy.
  • Install the complete repository so the Skill can access its templates, examples, references and scripts. The author reports testing with Codex; other named products are outside this site’s supported-agent list.
  • Python and Node.js are used by the included scripts. PDF export requires Chrome or Chromium; full checks use Poppler tools such as pdfinfo and pdftotext.
  • CC BY-NC 4.0: attribution is required and commercial use requires the author’s written permission.
